What inspired you to start your business?

I've always been passionate about storytelling and community engagement (and Bigfoot/Sasquatch lol). Media Squatch allows me to combine these passions with my love for marketing and media production.

The idea was to create a platform that could help local businesses tell their stories effectively and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. Media Squatch was born out of a desire to provide creative, unique high-quality FULL-SERVICE marketing solutions that make a real impact.

How does your business contribute to the local community?

Media Squatch contributes to the local community by supporting local businesses with their marketing needs on any size budget. We help them develop and execute effective marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement.

Additionally, our community-focused initiatives, like our support for local events and partnerships with community organizations, help strengthen the bonds within our community.

We've also created Grove Street FM, our community-focused streaming radio app. Through Grove Street FM, we provide a platform for local podcasts, live events, and sports coverage, helping to keep our community informed and entertained.

We also collaborate with local organizations and participate in community events to foster a strong, connected community.

Can you share a memorable experience or success story related to your business?

One recent memorable experience was working with Browns Heating Air and Plumbing to create Breezy, their mascot. This project was not just about creating a mascot but also about building a brand ambassador that resonated with their customers.

Seeing the positive reception Breezy received and how it helps Browns connect with their audience in a fun and engaging way was incredibly rewarding. It was a testament to the power of creative marketing and the impact it can have on a business.

What challenges have you faced in building your business, and how have you overcome them?

Building Media Squatch has not been without its challenges. One of the biggest hurdles was establishing our presence in a competitive market. We overcame this by staying true to our core values of creativity, quality, and community engagement.

By focusing on delivering exceptional results for our clients and continuously adapting to the ever-changing marketing landscape, we've been able to grow and thrive. Networking and building strong relationships with local businesses have also been crucial to our success.

What makes your business unique?

What sets Media Squatch apart is our commitment to blending creativity with a deep understanding of our clients' needs. We pride ourselves on being "Cryptid Creatives," bringing a unique and innovative approach to every project.

Additionally, our focus on community engagement allows us to connect with our audience on multiple levels, fostering a sense of community while delivering top-notch marketing solutions.

What advice would you give to other small business owners who are just starting out?

My advice to new small business owners is to stay passionate and persistent. Building a business takes time, effort, and a lot of hard work, but the rewards are worth it. Always be open to learning and adapting, and don't be afraid to take risks.

Networking and building relationships are key, so get involved in your community and support other local businesses. Most importantly, stay true to your vision and values, and let them guide your decisions.

How do you see your business evolving in the future?

Looking ahead, I see Media Squatch continuing to expand our services and reach. We plan to enhance our digital marketing offerings and explore new media formats to stay ahead of industry trends. Our goal is to become a go-to resource for marketing solutions, making a lasting impact on the local landscape.
